My name is Kayla Thomet and I’m the Manager of Digital Communications for the Oregon Business Council.

 

Beginning in the summer of 2018, I decided to pursue public relations work locally and internationally. This passion for working abroad began when I studied Wine Marketing in Siena, Italy. During this trip, I discovered a love for travel, people, and a balanced lifestyle. The communities within Siena inspired my desire to help others through my work. 

 

Currently, I have the privilege of working with top executives, directors, community leaders, creative directors, donors and partners. This job has taught me the value of uplifting community voices and building lasting relationships.

 

Running, coaching, reading, scuba diving, and snorkeling bring me unending joy. Making time to incorporate these activities into my life and immersing myself in the communities surrounding them help me escape from the stress and chaos of the world.

 

Making the world a better place and improving the lives of others are my priorities in everything I do and I look forward to continuing these goals in my public relations career.
